Job Purpose
To ensure financial transactions are processed within agreed turnaround times, effectively managing risk and preventing financial loss through accurate calculations and capturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Transactions: Ensure accurate calculations and capturing to prevent financial loss.
- Checks and Balances: Reconcile all financial reports and bank statements regularly.
- Service Level Agreements (SLA): Adhere to SLAs to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Customer Satisfaction: Investigate and resolve outstanding queries/complaints within agreed time frames.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain relationships by providing feedback and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Transaction Accuracy: Reconcile bank accounts according to policies and procedures.
- Audit Trail Maintenance: Investigate unreconciled items and follow up if unresolved.
- Workflow Monitoring: Check daily volumes and report any irregularities.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing processes.
- Legislation Awareness: Stay informed about legislation and industry changes affecting the role.
- Personal Development: Engage in training courses for career progression.
Qualifications
- Essential Qualifications: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
- Experience Level:
- 2-3 years of experience in financial, risk, and process management environments.
