Requirements:

Education: Completed Matric with Mathematics and English.

Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computers.

Experience: One year of administration experience.

Responsibilities:

As a Reconciliation Clerk at Hollywoodbets, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Auditing declarations from branches on “End of Days.”
2. Performing various reconciliations such as TUV, Tote, Betman, banking (EFT & cheque), LPMS, ATM, credit card, Ithuba transactions.
3. Auditing receivables (credit card or other) and manual transactions.
4. Conducting cash counts when requested and performing paperwork audits daily.
5. Managing missing tickets by ensuring validity and completeness; reconciling the Missing Ticket Masterfile; escalating shortages weekly; updating recovery Masterfiles accordingly.
6. Meeting weekly deadlines efficiently while collecting data for analysis to establish recommendations based on collected information.
7. Conducting research as required; performing audits around paperwork and daily recons to ensure compliance with policies/procedures.
8. Stock counts: Performing fixed asset counts; confirming vending stock levels at branches; conducting food & beverage stock counts at branch level.
9. Checking/reconciling tickets at branch level; reporting observations daily to seniors/managers.
10. Assisting branches/departments with query resolution while maintaining open communication channels with management through regular reporting.
11. Reconciling Pastel accounts onto internal audit software (Accurate platform); submitting timesheets regularly (daily/weekly).
12. Performing petty cash reconciliation monthly along with voucher verification tasks like confirming bar/kitchen stock variances monthly.
13. Work collaboratively within the team environment while being adaptable for ad-hoc assignments that may arise.
