Corteva Agriscience is inviting South African students to apply for their bursary programme for the 2025 academic year. The bursaries are awarded to students pursuing Agricultural qualifications at either undergraduate or postgraduate levels.
Closing Date: 31 October 2024
Bursary Coverage:
- Undergraduate students: Up to R95 000 per annum
- Postgraduate students: Up to R125 000 per annum
The bursary will cover full tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation (university-accredited residence), and research costs. Payments are made directly to the student’s tertiary institution account.
Requirements:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be studying full-time towards an undergraduate or postgraduate Agricultural qualification
- Have completed your first year and entering your second or higher year of study in 2025
- Be studying at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (College, University, or University of Technology)
- Have a strong academic record
- Not be in receipt of any other bursary, scholarship, or grant for 2025 (except NSFAS funding)
- Be unemployed
- Be in financial need
- Be willing to engage in vacation work with Corteva
- Be willing to sign a bursary agreement with Corteva
- Preference will be given to students studying in the AgriSETA Sectoral Priority Occupations List
Required Documents:
- Certified copy of your ID document (not older than 6 months)
- Tertiary academic records, including the most recent results (on institution letterhead)
- Proof of tertiary registration (on institution letterhead)
- Tertiary fee statements (on institution letterhead)
- Proof of parent or guardian’s income (latest payslip if employed, affidavit if unemployed, proof of grant or pension if applicable)
- Motivational letter
- Any other documentation supporting your application
