FASSET (Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority) is excited to announce that applications for the 2025 Bursary Programme are now open.
This program aims to support unemployed learners pursuing qualifications in the finance and accounting services sector.

Eligibility Criteria
Unemployed Learners:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Combined household income should not exceed R1,000,000 per annum.
- Must be registered or accepted at a Public University, University of Technology, or TVET college.
- Qualifications should fall within the Finance and Accounting Services (FAS) sector; preference will be given to IT-related qualifications and national critical skills.
Bursary Funding:
- Capped at R100,000 per university learner and R40,000 per TVET learner, per annum.
- Funding includes:
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Accommodation (for university learners only)
- Meal allowances (for university learners only)
Learners in Learning Development Programme (Interns and Trainees):
- Must also be registered or accepted at a Public University, University of Technology, or TVET college.
- Similar qualification preferences as above.
- Bursary funding capped at R100,000 for university learners and R40,000 for TVET learners, per annum.
- Covers tuition fees and prescribed textbooks only.
How to Apply
- Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Priority will be given to learners with strong academic records.
