The Faculty of Engineering, the Built Environment and Technology at Nelson Mandela University is offering financial assistance to students struggling with historic debt. This bursary aims to help students who have completed their studies but cannot graduate due to outstanding fees.

Who Can Apply?
The bursary is available to:
- Graduates of Nelson Mandela University who cannot receive their certificates due to unpaid historic debt.
- Students who have met graduation requirements but cannot officially graduate due to financial constraints.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Residency: Must be from the Eastern Cape (students from other provinces will not be considered).
- Qualification Completion: Must have completed a qualification in one of the prescribed fields and attach a completion letter to the application.
- Outstanding Debt: Must have unpaid historic debt preventing graduation.
- Applicable to Both Current and Past Students.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Clear copy of ID (certification not required, but unclear documents will be rejected).
- Completion Letter/Certificate/Academic Record indicating the qualification obtained and the date it was achieved.
- Signed and fully completed merSETA Bursary Form (attached to the bursary announcement).
