Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: NQF level 4 / Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English and two or more indigenous languages. For Eastern Cape positions, proficiency in Afrikaans, Xhosa, sign language, and English is required.
• Experience: Three months of practical experience is advantageous.
• Driver’s License: A driver’s license is advantageous.

Duties

As a Court Interpreter, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing interpreting services.
• Translating legal documents and exhibits.
• Assisting with the reconstruction of court records.
• Performing specific line and administrative support functions.
