South African National Parks (SANParks) is seeking a Housekeeper to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of Shingwedzi Rest Camp. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping and supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities
Camp Maintenance:
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the entire camp.
- Manage lost and found items for guests.
- Conduct daily walk-throughs and quality checks to enhance cleanliness and efficiency.
Housekeeping Administration:
- Administer the housekeeping function effectively.
- Manage human capital within the housekeeping team.
- Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures.
Asset and Budget Management:
- Control housekeeping operational stock and assets.
- Compile and manage the housekeeping budget.
- Implement cost control measures.
Health and Safety:
- Implement health and safety measures for employees and guests.
Customer Service:
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Coordinate and liaise with relevant departments.
Facilities Maintenance:
- Manage the maintenance of housekeeping facilities.
Requirements
Qualification: Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or Hotel Management.
Experience: At least three years of relevant housekeeping or tourism supervisory experience.
Skills:
- Knowledge of health and hygiene.
- Good written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and liaison skills.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
