About the YES Programme
The Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme is designed to empower young South Africans by equipping them with practical experience and theoretical knowledge in various industries. Bidvest International Logistics is proud to support this initiative, offering a year-long programme tailored to individuals eager to enter the logistics sector.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
To qualify for the YES Learnership Programme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: Completed Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Age Requirement: Between 18 and 34 years old.
- Employment Status: Must be unemployed and not enrolled in any academic studies for 2025.
- Programme Eligibility: Must not have participated in the YES Programme before with any company.
- Interest: Avid interest in the Transport and Logistics industry.
- Availability: Must be available and committed to work full-time for 12 months.
- EE Requirements: Must be aligned with the Employment Equity (EE) requirements of the programme.
Key Responsibilities
As a participant in the YES Programme, you will:
- Commit to the 12-Month Programme: Engage in both theoretical and practical components over 12 months.
- Complete 25 Modules: All modules will be completed on the YES Platform, culminating in a portfolio of evidence to be submitted upon programme completion.
