Role Purpose
The learnership program will enable you to gain valuable experience in various areas of the insurance sector, including Claims and Operations. While completion of the program does not guarantee full-time employment, it offers invaluable experience to kick-start your career.
Requirements
- Age: South African citizens aged between 18-25 only.
- Education: Must have passed Grade 12 or NQF Level 4.
- Pure Mathematics: Minimum 60% or Mathematical Literacy: Minimum 70%.
- English: Minimum 65%.
- Employment Status: Currently unemployed.
- Previous Experience: Must not have participated in a learnership before.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Process:
- Actively participate in classroom sessions and practical on-the-job training.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products, policies, and procedures.
- Compile a comprehensive portfolio of evidence for submission to SETA.
- Maintain detailed logbooks for work-based learning.
- Complete formative and summative assessments successfully.
- Client:
- Foster relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Adhere to service level agreements and manage client expectations effectively.
- Provide recommendations for enhancing client service.
- People:
- Build strong relationships with colleagues and foster positive expectations.
- Encourage a culture of innovation by developing and sharing new ideas.
- Finance:
- Identify solutions to enhance cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
