iMasFinance is offering an exciting opportunity for previously disadvantaged, unemployed candidates to join its 12-month IT Technical Support Learnership Programme. The programme combines structured learning with hands-on practical experience, leading to a certificate in IT Technical Support.
Programme Overview:
The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in the IT department, focusing on:
- Workstation set-up and maintenance
- Troubleshooting and resolving IT incidents
- Escalating incidents to third-level support
- Providing telephonic technical support
- Reporting and feedback management
- Assisting with hardware and software rollouts
- Receiving continuous coaching, training, and mentoring
Qualification Requirements:
- Grade 12 with:
- Maths (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
- English (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
- Second language (Minimum Level 4 – 50%)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (an advantage)
Other Requirements:
- Must be unemployed and not registered for any studies
- Available to start the Learnership in January 2025
- Interest in IT Networks and IT Security
- Open to previously disadvantaged youth
