- Learner Stipend: R10,000 per month plus Student Medical Aid
Programme Overview
The learnership includes:
- Structured Workplace Exposure: Participants will work under the supervision of technical leads, learning to collect and transform large amounts of structured and unstructured data from various sources.
- Data Analysis Techniques: Apply techniques to uncover patterns and trends in datasets to solve business-related problems. Participants will prepare and present analytic reports using data visualization tools.
Knowledge Component
Participants will gain:
- Occupational Certificate: Data Science Practitioner
- Foundational Knowledge in AWS and Azure
Qualifications
To be eligible for the learnership, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- A completed Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in fields such as:
- Mathematical Statistics
- Financial Mathematics
- Data Analytics
- Business Science
- Applied Mathematics
- Econometrics
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Aged between 18 and 30 years.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Not registered on any other learnership or studying at another institution.
