Responsibilities

As a learner, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out general line operations and cleaning regimes according to planned operational requirements to safely deliver a high-quality packed product.
• Monitoring product quality against set standards and reporting any faults in products or packaging.
• Quickly detecting process abnormalities and taking emergency action to prevent them.
• Cleaning machines according to manufacturer’s standards and site specifications.
• Checking and preparing raw materials for production.
• Maintaining safety standards for yourself and others on the line.

Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric (with Mathematics & Physical Science) or N3 (Engineering Studies).

Skills and Competencies

• Effective communication skills.
• Physical ability to manually lift packaged final products; good physical condition is essential.
