Minimum Requirements
- An appropriate 3-year B-Degree in Financial Management at NQF level 7 (equivalent or higher); A minimum of 3 years relevant supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of the following: Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), National Treasury Regulations and Provincial Treasury Instructions
- Public Service Act, 1994, as amended
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act
- Relevant systems (Basic Accounting System and Logistical Information System).
- Skills needed: Written and verbal communication
- Proven computer literacy
- Numeracy and literacy
- Project management
- Accounting, finance and audit.
Responsibilities
- Collection and recording of revenue: Cashier, banking service and electronic payments
- Debt management
- Monitoring and reporting on revenue
- Expenditure management: Compensation of employees
- Goods and services
- Transfers and subsidies
- Reporting
- Supervise employees to ensure an effective financial accounting service.
