Gert Sibande TVET College Internship Programme 2025

Gert Sibande TVET College Council invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following internship opportunities.

These one-year contract positions are designed to provide unemployed young graduates with valuable workplace experience, enhancing their employability prospects.

Skills Academy

• Electrician (Ref No. GSC08/2025) – 3 Positions
• Carpenter (Ref No. GSC09/2025) – 2 Positions
• Welder (Ref No. GSC10/2025) – 1 Position

Requirements

• Must hold a Trade Test Certificate in Electrician, Carpentry, or Welding.
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
• A valid driver’s licence will be an advantage.

Stipend

• Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R6,000.00.

Required Competencies

• Good management skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Report writing proficiency

Application Process

• Applicants must submit a fully completed and officially signed Z83 form along with a comprehensive CV.
• At least two contactable references should be provided on the CV or Z83 form.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit originally certified copies of all qualifications, academic records, ID documents, and a valid driver’s licence (if applicable) before the interview. Certifications must be no older than six months.
