Gert Sibande TVET College Council invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following internship opportunities.
These one-year contract positions are designed to provide unemployed young graduates with valuable workplace experience, enhancing their employability prospects.
Skills Academy
- Electrician (Ref No. GSC08/2025) – 3 Positions
- Carpenter (Ref No. GSC09/2025) – 2 Positions
- Welder (Ref No. GSC10/2025) – 1 Position
Requirements
- Must hold a Trade Test Certificate in Electrician, Carpentry, or Welding.
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- A valid driver’s licence will be an advantage.
Stipend
- Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R6,000.00.
Required Competencies
- Good management skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Report writing proficiency
Application Process
- Applicants must submit a fully completed and officially signed Z83 form along with a comprehensive CV.
- At least two contactable references should be provided on the CV or Z83 form.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit originally certified copies of all qualifications, academic records, ID documents, and a valid driver’s licence (if applicable) before the interview. Certifications must be no older than six months.
