What is a Quant Graduate?
Quantitative graduates (Quants) have expertise in advanced mathematics, statistics, applied mathematics, and related fields. They play a vital role in model development, data analysis, risk management, and tackling complex financial challenges.
Investec’s two-year rotational programme, starting in 2026, will provide exposure to various quantitative fields in specialised banking, including:
- IFRS 9 Development
- IRB Development (Basel)
- Model Validation
- Market Risk
- Counterparty Credit Risk
- Balance Sheet Funding
- Equity Research
- Analytics
