The Private Security Industry Regulatory Authority (PSIRA) is inviting applications for the Youth Empowerment Service (YES) Programme for the 2025-2026 period. This initiative aims to address youth unemployment in South Africa by providing unemployed learners and graduates with work experience and learning opportunities.

Programme Overview
The YES programme offers participants a 12-month work experience along with various learning opportunities to enhance their skills and employability.
Stipend
- NQF Level 6 Stipend: R5,000 per month
- NQF Level 7 Stipend: R6,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the YES programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Must be prepared to enter into an agreement with PSIRA and the YES programme.
- Applicants who have previously participated in a YES programme or any internship programme will not be considered.
- Must have studied at an accredited South African educational institution in a relevant field.
