The SAP Young Professionals Program is a free initiative delivered by the Digital Skills Center of SAP, designed to equip recent graduates with the certifications and soft skills necessary to launch a career as an SAP Associate Consultant.
The program lasts for 2 months and culminates in opportunities to connect with SAP customers and partners.
Program Overview
- Duration: 2 months
- Start Date: Beginning of March 2025
- Format: Online, virtual live classroom training from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday.
Role of an SAP Consultant
SAP Consultants can specialize in either:
- Functional: Involves blueprinting, design, implementation, operation, optimization, and upgrades of S/4 HANA projects.
- Technical: Focuses on providing business process and functional expertise to clients.
Certificate Information
Participants will gain certifications in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, which integrates intelligent technologies such as AI and machine learning to help businesses adapt to new models and manage change effectively.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must have the legal right to work in South Africa.
- Currently unemployed or employed in a part-time/non-permanent role unrelated to career aspirations.
- Educated to at least Bachelor level in fields related to Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or AI.
- Preferably graduated within the last 3 years with a GPA in the top quartile (proof may be requested).
- Keen interest in pursuing an SAP-related career involving travel.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
