Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) is inviting unemployed South African graduates between the ages of 18-35 to apply for a two-year structured graduate development programme.
This opportunity is designed to provide on-the-job training and institutional knowledge, helping participants build valuable work experience to increase their employability.
Candidates will receive structured mentorship throughout the 24-month programme, with progress assessments every six months to ensure expectations are met for both the participant and TFR.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for this programme, applicants must:
- Be unemployed South African citizens aged 18-35.
- Hold a National Diploma / Diploma / BTech / Bachelor’s Degree in Transport & Logistics Management.
- Have no prior work experience in their respective field of study.
- Have graduated from an institution registered with the Department of Higher Education & Training (DHET) (Universities, Universities of Technology, TVET Colleges).
What to Expect
Successful applicants will:
- Participate in a 24-month graduate development programme.
- Be placed in various Depots and Departments within Transnet Freight Rail.
- Gain hands-on industry experience and structured mentorship.
